There is a lot more to health than how much we weigh. Which is why I work with clients on heath-promoting behaviors such as intuitive eating, joyful movement, adequate sleep, stress management and more.

Due to COVID all sessions are online via a secure telehealth platform.
If you live in or near Chicago, we can meet in-person at my office in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago (conveniently located near the Belmont L stop). If you are unable to make it into the office or live outside the Chicagoland area, we can meet virtually via a secure videoconference.
Due to state licensure laws, you need to live in one of these states in order for me to be able to work with you via telehealth:
The first step is to set up a complimentary introductory call so we can learn a bit more about each other and determine if we’re a good fit. Then we’ll schedule your initial session. Sessions are held in person in Chicago or conducted virtually, via a secure online videoconference.
Before the first session I’ll get you set up in your online client portal, where you will complete intake forms, submit your insurance information and put a credit card on file.
Initial sessions are 60 minutes and cost $160.
Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes and cost $125.
I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.
For other insurances, I can provide you a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
I recommend calling your insurance and asking what they cover for nutrition services.
I highly recommend calling your insurance company before our first session to verify coverage for nutrition services.
For co-pays and private pay sessions, you can pay with a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club) through my secure online platform.
While I have the ability to take HSA cards, that doesn’t always mean your HSA card issuer will approve the charge. I recommend calling your HSA card issuer and asking if they cover nutrition services.
HAES® is a weight-inclusive approach to health and social justice framework trademarked by the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH). HAES does not mean that everyone at every size is healthy, but rather that everyone, no matter their size, has the right to pursue health in ways that are meaningful to them. The five principles of HAES are: weight inclusivity, health enhancement, respectful care, eating for well-being and life-enhancing movement.
Intuitive Eating is a non-diet approach and framework that has been used in more than 100 published research studies. It promotes sustainable healthy lifestyle habits and prioritizes internal cues rather than body weight and external factors. The 10 principles of intuitive eating are: ditch the diet mentality, honor your hunger, make peace with food, challenge the food police, respect your fullness, discover the satisfaction factor, honor your feelings without using food, respect your body, exercise using joyful movement and honor your health with gentle nutrition.
Absolutely! Research shows that including an abundance and variety of plant foods in one’s eating pattern is associated with many health benefits. I can help you learn ways to incorporate more plant foods into your day in delicious, easy ways without dieting or food rules.
Of course! Many of my vegan or vegan-curious clients are looking for help covering their nutrient needs and may not need help with body image.
Of course! My approach is inclusive of everyone and we can work through your body and weight concerns together. We will talk through your experiences and feelings and create a plan to help you feel your best.
