Maybe it’s due to my love of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, or maybe it’s because I crave peanut butter on a daily basis – for whatever reason, peanut sauce is a common ingredient in my cooking. It’s become a favorite salad dressing of mine and is perfect for tofu and a dipping sauce for spring rolls. It tastes fantastic cold or warm, and is easy to whip up in a matter of seconds.
I used to buy pre-made bottled peanut sauces and vinaigrette, but it’s so easy and inexpensive to make at home! The great thing about this sauce is you can make it with ingredients you probably already have on hand – I didn’t have a fresh lime so I used bottled lime juice instead. Try playing around with different ingredients to create a sauce you love!
