FREE E-Guide: 10 Things Every Vegan Needs to Know About Nutrition

For Professionals

Taylor Wolfram registered dietitian

Coming out of dietetic education and training, you’ll have spent a lot of time learning about biochemistry — and very little time learning about how to successfully run a business or effectively counsel clients.

Professional Mentoring

Through additional training, networking, and a lot of trial and error, I’ve built a thriving practice and am passionate about helping other professionals meet their own goals! I offer one-on-one mentoring to students, career-changers, dietetic interns, and new dietitians on how to translate their dietetic training into a career they love.

I won’t sugarcoat it — entrepreneurship isn’t easy. But in my experience, it has been 100% worth all the challenges. If you need support navigating nutrition entrepreneurship, I’d love to help. I offer mentoring sessions, including a limited number of reduced-fee spots for students.

Case Consultation

Like me, most RDs didn’t take a single class on plant-based nutrition or counseling. Luckily, I’ve been able to learn, practice and grow through numerous trainings, courses and programs, clinical supervision, and my experience working with hundreds of clients.

If you feel inadequate in these areas, you’re not alone. Many RDs are looking for additional guidance to hone their craft. I specialize in weight-inclusive care, intuitive eating and veganism and love helping other RDs feel confident in their counseling skills. If you need support working through challenging cases or figuring out which direction to go with your clients, I am here to help!

VEGAN NUTRITION RESOURCES

If you’re like me, you didn’t learn much about vegan nutrition in your dietetics training beyond “make sure they eat enough protein and take a vitamin B12 supplement.” This does a great disservice to us as dietitians and to our vegan and vegan-curious clients. As a long-time vegan myself who’s also done extra training and research in vegan nutrition, I am passionate about helping other dietitians become more skilled and confident in working with vegan clients. From must-know vegan nutrition information to assessing for and treating disordered eating, we are here to help you sharpen your skills through workshops, trainings, groups and other resources!

What our clients are saying...

Working with Taylor was an amazing investment in myself.
I struggled with an unhealthy relationship with food and body for about 15 years. She is extremely knowledgeable and helped me work through my issues. I learned so much about myself in the process. Taylor provided ongoing guidance and encouragement and made the transition to intuitive eating less overwhelming and more manageable. Taylor’s warmth and kindness immediately made me feel comfortable opening up to her.
- Kristy
Taylor was a godsend for me.
I was overwhelmed with the amount of information out there on health and how to eat. I was so over diets and sick of obsessing around food. I was looking for guidance on Intuitive Eating when I found Taylor. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and an amazingly supportive coach. I enjoy food without guilt and I’m on the path to loving my body.
- Katie
Working with Taylor is like stepping into the total non-judgment zone.
I felt comfortable actually trying out different eating strategies and foods to help address some of my chronic health issues without having to worry that I would just be told to “eat healthier” or exercise harder when I’m not feeling my best. With her help, I’m gaining confidence in listening to my body cues around hunger and fullness and letting go of the guilt around food.
- Lauren
Working with Jessica has given me so much more freedom in my life.
I am a person in a bigger body with anorexia and orthorexia who is also vegan. Jessica provided me the space to heal with a weight-neutral approach, expertise in veganism, specific recommendations for peer support, and useful literature, all while maintaining a funny and open disposition. The best part about Jessica is that she is a good listener that helps me believe that I can trust my body’s wisdom. This is the first experience I have had tackling this lifelong issue with ED where I didn't feel shamed, but instead felt supported and nurtured.
